The Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) is an academic and research center within the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. The Center was established with a collaborative project among Addis Ababa University (AAU), the University of Oslo (UiO), and the University of Malawi (UoM) with financial support from the Norwegian Development Agency (Norad) through the Norwegian Programme for Capacity Development in Higher Education (NORHED II). CSD runs a multidisciplinary PhD program, serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research and engages in community services in towards advancing sustainability and sustainable development.
