The Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) is an academic and research center within the College of Social Sciences. The Center was established with a collaborative project among Addis Ababa University(AAU), the University of Oslo(UiO), and the University of Malawi(UoM) with financial support from the Norwegian Development Agency (Norad) through the Norwegian Programme for Capacity Development in Higher Education (NORHED II). CSD runs a multidisciplinary PhD program, serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research on sustainability and sustainable development, and engages in community services.
